Grzegorz Krychowiak has ended his football career. After playing his final match — in the district league for Mazur Radzymin — the centurion of the Polish national team officially bids farewell to football.
The footballer has had a remarkable career – he won the Europa League twice and represented the national team in four major tournaments. He played for clubs such as Reims, Sevilla, and PSG.
Grzegorz Krychowiak has made 58 appearances in the Spanish league, 83 in the French league, and 27 in the English league, along with 28 matches in the Champions League. In recent years, he played in the Greek, Saudi, and Cypriot leagues. Most recently, he had been without a club.
The former national team player played his last match in the district league — for Mazur Radzymin against Polonia III Warsaw. The match ended in a 3–3 draw; Krychowiak provided an assist, received a yellow card, and was substituted in the 77th minute.
Krychowiak’s appearance in Mazur’s match was part of a project he is carrying out together with Jakub Grabowski, the rapper known as “Quebonafide.”
As we have confirmed, this was the player’s final match, and on Monday, October 27, he will officially end his career.
According to people close to the player, Krychowiak has plenty of ideas for ventures outside the pitch. He will continue to run his businesses, but at the same time, he has already started new projects.
