How do you think Smallville’s Martha Kent would get along with Marty McFly’s mom Lorraine McFly if the two future mothers met in their youth?
Let’s say Martha Kent (specifically the Smallville version) was reimagined as a 1950s teenager who moved to Hill Valley and became a classmate of Marty McFly’s parents George McFly and Lorraine Baines. How do you think Martha would’ve gotten along with Lorraine, considering the personalities of both characters. Would they have been friends or would they have not gotten along and became rivals, assuming that Martha has the same kindness and wholesome aura she posesses as an adult? What would Martha think of Lorraine’s forward behavior and tendency to smoke and drink? In turn, how receptive would Lorraine (who is, despite her flaws, ultimately a good person) be to someone who is as benevolent as Martha? Just a fun thought experiment two of my favorite fictional mothers who went to raise two of the most amazing heroic figures in fiction.
