It’s so good it makes you angry that not more shows can be like this.
I don’t know where to even start - fantastic from start to finish and while I could praise Ruffalo and the rest of the cast, especially Tom Pelphrey, or the images, a beautiful cinematography that just captures Delaware in such beautiful vibrant light, or the somber score that just paints the mood so well… the star of this show is the writing: great characterizations, so well structured, really hard hitting climaxes and an unexpectedly gut wrenching family story at its heart.
It’s from the same writer as „Mare of Easttown“, which I already loved, and I genuinely liked this much more.
Arguably THE best mini-series of 2025 for me.
