I am so pissed of by this…EA is going to continue churning out crappy madden games with a new coat of paint on it each year and not actually solve any of the issues with the animation-driven gameplay and lack of features in Franchise mode relative to previous officially licencesned NFL games. Without any competition, any new additions to Franchise or really any improvements on the game just won’t happen because there is no incentive for them to happen. It doesn’t matter that people are starting to realize that the games are basically the same each year just with new rosters, that players’ view and rating of the game are continuing to decrease, EA is still getting a LOT of money from it almost completely because it’s the only option available that has the NFL and NFLPA licenses. While there are much better alternatives, not having the NFL license which allows the recognizable names and logos to be put into the game is a real game breaker for many people.
Also this probably isn’t the right sub for this but assuming that at least SOME people in this sub also play madden I thought it was at least somewhat relevant
