Not saying it’s necessarily a new thing but I feel like there’s been an influx of underwhelming finales. Season finales that either don’t wrap up anything at all or wrap up things too fast, and switch focus to setting up/teasing future seasons. Alien Earth, Peacemaker S2, The Last of Us S2, HOTD S2, Squid Game S2, Daredevil Born Again and now Gen V S2. Is this a side effect of the short seasons?
