I’ve been tracking how teams are doing compared to how Vegas said they should’ve done with regards to their money lines for every week. If Vegas gave a team a 70% chance to win and they won, they would come out 0.3 wins ahead of where they should be (they received 1 win when they were expected to get 0.7, or 1-0.7=0.3), which is denoted as +0.3 wins. However, if they lost, they would come out 0.7 wins behind (0-0.7), which is denoted as -0.7 wins.
