The performance of a lifetime. Just finished season 6 and her role as the Dowager Countess of Grantham is one of the best and most enjoyable performances I’ve come across in all of tv. I had no idea she was that good at comedy - her body language is fucking off the charts hilarious. Every line of dialogue (fair play to the writers also) is delivered so naturally I was enthralled everytime she was on screen. Can’t believe I had only seen her as McGonagall she is incredible. Enjoyed pretty much every other character too - the whole show was great - but she eclipsed everyone for me. Very happy my Wife and I chose to watch this. s She completely blew us away and it would be worth watching the entire show for her alone. RIP Maggie Smith, what a legend.
