Maybe I’m naïve and my Wisconsin is showing, but why isn’t Hawai’i a better program? I understand success breeds more success and good players want to go to good schools, but from a recruiting standpoint, how is Hawai’i not an extremely attractive option if you’re a good high school player?? I understand it’s far away and all that, but you’ve got kids from one coast going to the other all the time so I don’t fully buy that argument. You’d have a chance to live in one of the most beautiful places in the US, good weather all year round so it’s not like here in Wisconsin where you deal with cold and snow. You’ve got a program that seems ripe to blow up eventually. I believe they’re building a new stadium down there soon??? Uniforms aren’t Oregon but they’re still pretty good IMO. Again, maybe this is a super dumb question but I’ve always wondered it. Happy to hear others thoughts and hopefully not get blasted to space by trolls. On Wisconsin!
