Vanderbilt beat Alabama 32-7 in 1956 and beat LSU 7-0 in 1957. This also marks just the second time Vanderbilt has beaten LSU since that 1957 game, with the only other victory coming in 1990, a 14-1 run by the Tigers prior to today.
