Loudermilk is a show that came out in 2017 and canceled in 2020.

I just started watching it over the past few months and never had a show hit me so hard. The relapses they portray seem comedic but they are so real.

Relapsing doesn’t make sense to a lot of people that aren’t addicts or alcoholics. Sometimes everything could be going right and that itself is the trigger.

The show made me cry, laugh, and gave me a sense of community. It also made me realize I can’t do it on my own. I’ve tried and failed over and over again.

I am in an outpatient recovery program now and have started AA again. Today is day 2.

Even if you do not have any form of addiction, you may know someone who struggles with it. This show is funny and can help with empathy towards that are struggling.

Thanks for saving my life Loudermilk.
