On October 11, 2025, a Houston ICU nurse was arrested by Magnolia Police for driving while intoxicated (DWI) after reportedly running a red light and hitting a concrete barrier.

In-car video shows the woman making offensive and threatening remarks toward officers during her arrest, including telling them:

“I’m a nurse — when you come through my hospital, don’t worry, I’ll let you die.”

She also made racial comments toward an officer, mocking his accent and referencing immigration enforcement, saying:

“That’s because ICE hasn’t picked you up yet.”

The nurse was immediately suspended and later terminated by Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital, which stated that her behavior was unacceptable and did not reflect their values.

She has been charged with DWI and released on bond. The incident remains under review.
