Hi everyone, I’m wondering if other people also have some kind of system when it comes to TV shows , I mean mainly those who have watched a lot of shows over time, not just casual viewers.

I’ve watched 75 shows so far, and over time I’ve developed this system:

  1. Only finished shows (Reason: I don’t want to wait for new seasons by the time they come out, I’ve forgotten what the show was about)
  2. At least 2 seasons (I don’t see the point of short, one-season shows I’d rather watch a movie instead)
  3. Always in the original language (This is important because English is not my native language)
  4. Always two shows at the same time (Watching only one would be monotonous, and more than two would be overwhelming)
  5. I don’t skip through episodes or seasons (Once I start a show, I watch it from the first episode to the last)
  6. Always vary the genre (I don’t watch two cop shows or two sitcoms back-to-back)

If anyone else has a similar set of rules or system, I’m curious to hear about it.
