Genuine question. Do people think they’re good? Are people expecting he’ll make something good after years of garbage, misleading or poorly acted shows with terrible writing?
The (first seasons of) American horror story heyday is long gone and he’s not getting any better, I see him like Michael Bay or Tyler Perry atp. Just rehashing the same tropes, same characters, same writing over and over and people seem to lap it up for some reason, I find it so bizarre.
If you’re into the true crime stuff, there are far better shows and docs, Mindhunter is 10x better than anything Ryan has put out in 5+ years.
