I’ve found myself watching FBI as background noise recently. It’s not good, it’s not bad, it’s a Dick Wolf crime drama that does everything I would want a Dick Wolf crime drama to do.
However, I just got to episode Episode 7, Season 2, where one of the agents talked down a suicidal suspect by saying “You know why the rear-view mirror on a car is so much smaller than the windshield? Because what’s behind us is so much less important than what’s in front of us.”
Just wondering if there are any other examples of mediocre to good TV shows which have some truly exceptionally terrible lines in them (I’m aware there are probably some terrible shows out there where every line is terrible, but that feels less interesting).
