A 30 min feel good comedy like this is increasingly hard to find and could be canceled for SO3. no its not YET as good as the office and yes it has problems and a lot of obvious similarities.
a show like this is all about the characters however, and how they develope. parks and rec and others were also extremely similar but it doesnt matter because its all about characters and group dynamics. parks first season is drastically worse than the rest as it finds its footing and develops each char.
the user reception hasnt been great but i really like it so far and trust Daniels etc going forward. im usually a very critical, persnickity type but already enjoy a lot of these chars. some relationships are moving to fast and have problems but its good fun for a 1st season.
