I’ve been waiting to start this show for forever, it’s right up my alley in lots of ways (Lee Pace, insanely gorgeous visuals and production, sci-fi themes, Jared Harris).
However I just got done with S1E5 and my god that was such a bad episode. So far of the 5 episodes I’ve seen they’ve all felt like filler and we have barely started the 1st season.
I keep seeing praise and wanting to really like it, should I give it some more time to trap me in? Some of the acting and casting (outside of the Cleons) is horrendous, same with the dialogue (again, outside of the Cleons)
Looking at the IMDB episode list, they mostly all hover around 7/10 with exception to a 3 episode stretch to end S2.
So again, should I stick it out or is it just more of the same terrible stuff outside of the Empire (Dawn, Day, Dusk) stuff?
