Linklater plays Cypher, the principal of Godolkin University and this season’s antagonist. While the show never really excels, Linklater’s performance as a villain is a constant high point.
Much like his name, we know nothing about this character for much of the season but Linklater’s performance (and the writing of this character) is about the only compelling aspect of this otherwise slog of a season.
