Where you have to laugh about it years later. To this day can’t believe I fell for the Florida Hype leading up to the 1996 Fiesta Bowl. Spurriers Fun N Gun offense was pretty much unstoppable during the 1995 season. Florida looked loose and ready heading into that game. And the media was dogging on Nebraska for not playing a game on actual grass the whole season. Also Florida did lead 10-6 after the first quarter and then arguably the greatest college football team ever decided to impose their will on Florida that night in Tempe. As the dust settled it was 62-24 Nebraska easily handing Florida. Any games historically games you can think of?
