I’m watching Twin Peaks for the first time ever, and man, this show is weird in the best possible way! Everything feels a bit off, the characters doesn’t feel real, some overacting is intentionally off putting, and Lynch seemed to have very little interest in the actual mystery of who killed Laura Palmer, at least compared to murder mysteries we see these days.

Like I said, I love. I’m a Lynch fan. But I can imagine be very weird for the casual tv audience. So…how big was it? Was it a cult classic that gained traction over time or was it big from the start?
