Just trying to watch Bob’s Burgers season … 12? or 13? and there’s another 3 or 4 seasons?!? And the kids are still the exact same age. Doing the same hijinxs. Facing the same problems.

Looking around the patch.

Simpsons is on season 33?!?

South Park is on 27 seasons?!?

Family Guy is on 23 seasons?!?

Honestly I’ve just lost interest in watching these shows. There’s no development, no movement and they’re literally exhausted their format. They’re older than most adults walking around working. Yet still stuck in the past of school and children.

I can’t help but want to watch the Belcher kids actually grow up. See them go to University or get a job. Watch as Bob and Tina actually have to plan for retirement. Watch them in address the changing world. Watching them at school for the 250th time is just getting old.

Likewise it would be great to watch the Simpsons actually grow up and develop. Watch South Park kids deal with more modern and mature themes through the lense of teenagers or young adults.

Anyone else wish they would explore these ideas?
