I much prefer the longer episodes bc it allows them to do more things. Season 4 would have equaled 18 episodes if they were 42 minutes each. But I like seeing them in a movie format. You can always just pause it and return whenever you want, so length doesn’t matter. Make each episode 3 hours for all I care. I just love the characters and story and want to see as much as I can.
Season 5 has over 650+ hours of footage filmed, and the duffer brothers said it’s like 8 block-buster films. People said this is crazy and that it feels very unorganized and messy with so much filmed. But Top Gun Maverick had over 800 hours filmed for just one movie.
Actually, why have people turned on Stranger Things all of a sudden? Everyone acts like the show isn’t relevant anymore and how they aren’t going to watch it and it sucks, but every time it comes back, it beats its own record of most-watched show of all time on Netflix. I legitimately don’t understand why people hate on the show now. Especially when the show hasn’t gotten bad. Season 4 was one of the best seasons up there with Season 1. The sudden hate just feels so forced to me.
