My pick would be The Harper Connelly Mysteries Series by Charlaine Harris. (She’s the woman who wrote the Sookie Stackhouse books.) I mean True Blood wasn’t perfect, but it was a fun show and it’d be cool to see another one of Charlaine’s book series get made into a t.v. show.

And a Paranormal Murder/Mystery Drama about a woman who after getting hit by lighting finds herself able to locate the bodies of dead people with an unusual knack and eerie compulsion where she has to find them could be a cool show. CBS was developing a series based on it that was going to be called ‘Grave Site’ they even made a pilot for it. Then, later on after CBS passed on it; Syfy started developing a version titled ‘Grave Sight’ after the first book in The Harper Connelly Series. They even got the production company behind American Horror Story involved. So, I’m sure it could have been a hit. But, for whatever reason it never got off the ground and they too passed on it.

It’d be great after all these years later if CBS, Syfy, or hopefully even Netflix or HBOMax could finally make it into a show one day. It’s a good book series and has the potential to be a cool show if the right team of writers, actors and producers just got behind it.

Anyways…though that’s my vote for a t.v. series that was close to being developed but ultimately got scrapped that’d be cool if it got picked back up and made into a show one day. I was just curious to read about any other cool sounding shows you still think about that where almost made that you think has the potential to one day be made into a hit?
