For years, I assumed The Storyteller had been a major success until the Internet said the series didn’t last more than 9 episodes (13, if we count the Greek Myths season).

What happened? The critics adored it. It won various awards and as I re.watched some of the episodes, they haven’t dated in any way. The Puppets and Animatronics still convince, the narrative flows with breeze, John Hurt is a marvelous narrator and I even liked the fluffy dog voiced by Brian Henson.
