The big mystery this time is all about Tongue. First you’re like okay maybe it’s some shady guy with a nickname, right. But nah, Detective Donna comes in and says it’s actually a company. She warns them to chill, to stop poking around cause it’s way bigger than they think. And of course, Charles and Oliver being Charles and Oliver, they don’t listen. They roll up to the address and boom, whole new mess, whole new layer to the story.
And honestly , we’re halfway through and still no real answers. Like what’s actually up with those billionaires we saw earlier. Where do Sophia, her husband, her mom even fit into this puzzle. What’s the actual deal with the Velvet Room and them poker nights. And bro the Arconia itself feels like it’s hiding something, like some deep history we ain’t seen yet. The show just keeps dangling little bits but doesn’t feed us the full thing.
Usually around episode 7 or 8 we start getting the curtains pulled back, you know, we start feeling like okay now we’re seeing the who-done-it. Episode 10 wraps it all up and gives a taste for next season. But this season, feels like they’re dragging it a bit, stacking up more side plots and more faces than usual.
So now the real question, are Oliver Charles and Mabel actually gonna crack this one. Or is this gonna be the first time they flop. Cause right now too many pieces. You got Lester and his random dry cleaning tie-in, the staff beefing about their jobs, shady billionaires running around, Sophia’s messy family drama. It’s too much to hold in one hand bruv.
But still, Tongue Tied as an episode, solid. Funny bits, chaotic energy, and still pushing the mystery forward. Made me laugh but also made me even more confused.
So what about you. You liked the episode or not really. Which part hit for you, which one felt dead. You feeling Season 5 more than the last four. And the big one, who do you think did it.
Drop your thoughts in the comments bruv, I wanna see what everyone’s cooking up.
