Not really sure where to ask this question, Netflix is asking to shoot on my property (my driveway) and was wondering if I’m being scammed. A location scout came to my door and asked if they could shoot in my driveway for a new show. I said it was fine but he told me I would have to send my banking information during the contract phase to get paid. He had business cards and his Netflix identification. He sent over the contract with all the information and shooting days and the final page asks for routing number and bank information. Is this the normal process? Can I request a different method of payment? Has anyone had an experience like this before?
