Everyone’s talking about the acting and costumes (rightfully so), but for me, the moment where I really felt the show’s power was in Bliss. Those special visual effects didn’t just look good, they felt cinematic.

Pair that with the sound mixing/editing, and it’s like you’re not just seeing Gotham, you’re dropped right in the middle of it. The little audio cues, footsteps, silences before chaos, made it way more immersive than I expected.

It’s rare for a TV episode to feel like it could play in theaters, but Bliss pulled that off effortlessly.
