We’re four episodes and 180 some odd minutes into Season 2 of Peacemaker, and hardly anything new has been revealed or unfolded since the return episode.
The normal weekly release structure is really highlighting how little the plot has moved at all.
Besides Peacemaker deciding he likes the parallel universe, he’s essentially in the same spot he was four episodes ago. Same for Adebayo. Same for Economos.
Legit, every plot point they’ve gone through could have fit in a 60 minute season premiere.
I don’t really have any issue with James Gunn creatively, but after the debacle that was HOTD season 2, I’m just hypersensitive to short seasons with bad pacing.
