Original Title: How does a person know when the show has run its course? I know that some might say 3 or 4 seasons. I’m surprised how some shows get renewed for 8 or 9 seasons. Was that just the thing since game of thrones, vampire diaries, big bang theory and others got so many seasons.
I think to me, the way to know when the show should be over or lost its spark is maybe when the show is side characters first and main character second. Either that or when the main character can be killed or in a coma for a season or two and they have to do the show without them.
