I’m binging the show rn, and I’m struck by how amazing the acting and developing storyline is. It does a good job of differentiating itself from other crime shows by showing the CIA’s complicity in the Crack epidemic. And outside of that, every character gets a strong storyline where they’re not the same as they were at the start. Seeing where Franklin’s relationship with his mother ended compared to where it began is WILD!

That said, I don’t really see a lot of conversation here on the show. In my opinion, it gets a little bloated towards S5. But S6 recovers and focuses in on everything important to the story, providing a satisfying, impactful finale, something many shows fail at. So, why the lack of love?
