Tracking the last teams without a win in college football. The rules are simple: You are on until you win. If you are a power 5 team a win over an FCS team only moves to you “Honorary Unwinfeated” as there is no valid excuse for a Power 5 team to lose to an FCS team without a Dakota in its name. G5 teams can get a pass if their lone win is over an FCS team because this is my post and I make the rules.

Leaving the Watch this week:
East Carolina - The Pirates pillaged Gardner-Webb 44-0. As a G5 team, they leave the watch permamently despite it being an FCS win.
Colorado State - They followed up their loss to the Buffaloes with a nice 31-23 win at Middle Tennessee.
Georgia Tech - An impressive 30-16 win at Wake Forest gets them off the honorary list.
Iowa State - They get off the honorary list with a 34-27 over Oklahoma State, but they get demerits for somehow giving up 20 points to Iowa in El Assico earlier.
Indiana - The Hoosiers get off the honorary list… barely. They needed 4 overtimes and a missed field goal as time expired to beat Akron. It also ended a 16 year streak where the MAC got at least one win over the B1G each year.
South Carolina - a 37-30 win over Mississippi State gets them off the honorary list.
UNWINFEATED WATCH
Virginia - 0-4 - Came close on Friday, but lost to North Carolina State 24-21. They have a chance to at least join honorary unwinfeated in two weeks when they host Bill & Mary.
Sam Houston - 0-3 - The Bearkats are still seeking their first FBS level win. After losing the Battle of Too Many Houstons at Houston 38-7.
UConn – 0-4 - Demolished at home by Duke 41-7.
Buffalo – 0-4 (with FCS loss) - Lost 45-38 in a very intertaining game at Louisiana.
Nevada – 0-4 (with FCS loss BY 27 POINTS!) - Lost at Texas State 35-24. Next up is a top 25 game agst a pretty good Fresno State team.
HONORARY UNWINFEATED (Power 5 with only win over an FCS team)
Baylor - 1-3 - (Long Island 30-7) - Lost to Texas 38-6, but did a horns down and disrespected the choo-choo song, so that’s half a win in my book.
Texas Tech - 1-3 - (Tarleton State 41-3) - Lost at West Virignia 20-13. They have three losses by a combined 17 points.
Pittsburgh - 1-2 - (Wofford 45-7) - Lost at home to North Carolina 41-24
Boston College - 1-3 - (Holy Cross 31-28) - Blown out by Louisville 56-28, but they get the UNWINFEATED WATCH GAME OF THE WEEK against Virginia on the CW Saturday after the latest Dawson’s Creek.
Arizona State - 1-3 (Southern Utah 24-21) - Ran the “F*** it, run a bunch of bullshit plays and see what happens against a top 5 team” Offense agaisnt USC and managed to stay in it far longer than anyone expected.
