I don’t want to oversell it, but if you enjoyed Fleabag, this is right up your alley.
What really stood out to me was the dynamic between the sisters; their insecurities, their bond, and all the raw, messy moments that make them feel so real. The writing is sharp, unflinching, and every beat lands exactly where it should: the sisters, the father, and the endless cascade of screw-ups.
The main character is especially relatable. You can genuinely feel her struggles and frustrations.
I’d highly recommend giving it a shot. And if you do, make sure you stick with it through episode 3. That’s where the characters, the stories, the writing truly come together and evolve beyond the groundwork of the first two episodes.
