In 2022 and 2021 we had UGA. In 2020 we had Bama. In 2019 we had Ohio State, Bama, Clemson, and LSU establish themselves as elite pretty early on. In 2018 Bama established itself as elite. 2017 was Bama. 2016 was Bama again. I genuinely cannot recall the last season where no team looked elite by week 4. I love it.
