What a very strange coincidence.
Young ancaps, if you haven't seen this one, it held up really well. Just as potent today (not to mention great acting by Will Smith, and a solid supporting cast).
Rewatched Enemy of the State for the first time since 1998. What a strong movie. And odd... the NSA spook / antagonist was born on 9/11, and his agenda was to push forward a fictional bill like the Patriot Act. This was filmed three years before 9/11.
