A poster in another thread about this show from about a week-and-a-half ago claimed that Daily Wire were advertising it for release on September the 10th but even if that is the case, it’s never getting a second season.

The cast are all relative unknowns, with only a few bit parts in mainstream shows like Vera, Benidorm, and Game Of Thrones between them so it has absolutely zero star power to draw people in, unlike Daily Wire’s other projects that at least try to get a known face like Rob Schneider or Gina Carano.

The marketing is basically non-existent with no trailers, and the last production diary posted to YouTube eleven months ago.

The IP itself is not well known outside of fantasy literature circles, and Daily Wire doesn’t have the resources to change that in the way Game Of Thrones did.

It’s been in production for two years now, and, despite trying to trim costs by filming in Italy and Hungary, it’s a fantasy drama series, and will have cost a lot for a low-end niche streaming service that is apparently having financial difficulties as it is, with layoffs back in April and rumours of bankruptcy attorneys being hired.

The best Daily Wire can do is finish the first season, release it, and take the hit. Because this is never going to be their Mandalorian or Stranger Things that dominates the cultural conversation and brings in hordes of new subscribers.
