I guess playing devil’s advocate is cool, but this is just nonsense.

I think even if it is not necessarily true, i at least shows that the police were not so completely biased.

There were no other good suspects at the time other than theoretically Mr. Bojangles and the hitchhiker who were both never identified.

(Now, keep in mind Terry Hobbs is a good enough suspect for a few reasons, but a lot of that involves the recent ideas about DNA evidence from a hair on a knot. There doesn’t seem to be as good of evidence pointing to him as the killer as there was against the WM3, although I understand that it is arguable whether or not that it should get a conviction.)

Mr. Bojangles and the “hitchhiker” were fiction way back then. And there were two other suspects back then. I’m not sure they are both alive now, as I’ve not kept up on the case for over a decade. But to refer to fictitious characters as theoretical suspects is not a good look.

Anyway, DNA is going to be the final word. Maybe I’m wrong and the WM3 are guilty. Or maybe I’m right and the WM3 are innocent. Or maybe the DNA will be inconclusive, and we’ll still be at odds, and Arkansas will celebrate.
