I grew up watching The Simpsons reruns every night, it played a major role in shaping my sense of humor. Whenever I watch the older episodes now, I get hit with this mix of nostalgia and surprise because half the jokes completely flew over my head when I was younger, and I experience it almost like a new show as I’m catching all the stuff I missed the first time.
