Sure, the bar for succuess is low (Coach Gonzalez will probably keep his job for a few more years if the lobos can go just 5-7) but its in an area that has almost no recruits and has very little appeal to outside recruits. i’m from ABQ so i’ll admit I’m biased and love the city, but even i can recognize that it’s not that attractive of a destination, especially with it’s reputation for violent crimes. On top of this, you have a fanbase that is generally apathetic to the program and likely one of the worst stadiums in FBS.
All of these factors combine, in my mind, to create one of the worst headcoaching jobs in FBS. What say you?
