Like, there’s no shame in having body parts, I’m not trying to say that.

But even on this sub, if someone talks about their male partner’s harmful masturbation habits, a male would inevitably chime in not just to express an opinion, but follow that opinion up with a detailed description of his own masturbation habits, if/when he can get hard, whether or not it’s to porn, etc.

I’ve seen this all over Reddit. Whenever I see a woman talk about her body parts, it’s almost always a sincere question or relevant to the topic without venturing into over sharing.

And certainly men make sincere comments too. But a lot of the times it feels like over sharing for the sake of getting a reaction, or their own enjoyment of knowing that other women will be forced to know details about their own dicks for the millisecond it takes to read a comment.

Again, no shame in masturbation, sex, or having male parts. It’s just the pure eagerness to delve into details that may make certain people uncomfortable. It feels almost controlling.
