I find this quite hilarious given that Vietnam was praised by authoritarians and those against human rights for their extreme lockdowns. Someone we know in the US reported that her family in Ho Chi Min City was under lockdown and feared going outside, as the military was ordered to shoot people trying to leave without permission. Absolutely terrible, but absolutely on par for leftist regimes, and absolutely what excited and pleases communists and other authoritarians.
And in the end, the virus still wins. Countless lives shattered all for a doomed-to-fail "zero COVID" policy.
Also, get your vaccine. If you want. Totally up to you but I won't shoot you for deciding against it, unlike some people.
