Original Title: The Arizona Wildcats play the Weber State Wildcats this weekend, and then play the Kansas State Wildcats next weekend. When was the last time that schools with identical team names played each other in succession?
I just thought that this was such a funny circumstance that Arizona will be playing wildcat teams two weeks in a row. Does anyone else have a recollection of team mascots playing each other in back to back weeks? Maybe something with the bulldogs teams?
