Tv shows tend to have dozens of directors, but every episode tends to look the same no distinctive feeling for directors. As in rise of the planet was directed by rupert Wyatt, it’s sequel dawn of the planet of the apes was directed by matt reeves, despite being a direct sequel the tone,shots,grading,editing,cinematography and pretty much everything is different to give both directors their own distinctive feel. Same can’t be said for tv episodes who are usually directed by very different filmmakers but they look exactly the same. Why?, is it just me or is this true?
