I am watching Barnaby Jones for the first time and I am surprised with how well written, respectful to the audience and even classy when it comes to stories, murder and language. And another thing that surprised me is how the plots of the episodes I watched could be a long movie. So I ask the fellow members what are your views about this series and the way they conduct the stories? And what other series of that decade can give me the same feelings? Believe it or not, Barnaby Jones along with Vega$ and Rockford Files became comfort séries for me…
