Posting here cuz I can’t post on the Dexter subreddit.

I watched Season 1 of Dexter about a decade ago when I was a kid but lost interest back then. Lately I’ve been tempted to revisit it since I’ve heard Dexter: Resurrection is apparently peak television right now.

The problem is that I already know a couple of big spoilers:

  • The buff Black guy from Season 1 dies in Season 2.
  • The true identity of the Trinity Killer (probably the most famous villain in the series). I know he’s this old white dude named “Arthur” and appears in season 4.

Do you think the show is still worth watching despite knowing these? Or do those spoilers take away too much of the suspense and impact?

I’m mainly asking because I’ve heard the Trinity Killer arc is one of the highlights of the series, and I don’t want to waste my time if knowing the twist kills the payoff.

Curious to hear your takes from longtime fans.
