Feels like every tv show these days is a revival of an IP from the last decade, with the same characters picking up a few years later or with the teenagers now the parents of a new generation etc. Often it doesn’t have the same punch as the original but what’s something that revive and was quite effective?
For me it’s Criminal Minds: Evolution changing the structure to a season long plot instead of more episodic vision of the original show was a fresh take, it amped up the violence and in the new show they can swear which felt authentic to the characters
