I just got a recommendation in my YouTube feed for a Joel Klatt video in which it refers to ND potentially beating tOSU as an “upset.” Specifically it was: “Can ND upset tOSU.”
How is that an upset? It’s #9 potentially beating a #6, in what world is that an upset? I saw the same headlines after the Miami vs aTm game: “Miami UPSETS aTm at home.” The Aggies were narrowly in the top 25 (which was heavily debatable that they were even ranked) and we were at HOME. Wtf is this?
I’ve seen this stuff become more common in recent years. Is anyone else seeing this?
