ZeroZeroZero is a show on Amazon that follows one large cocaine shipment that needs to travel through Mexico, port in the US, and eventually land in Italy. It focuses on various angles of the shipment, from the cartel sellers, the owners of the US port, and the buyers in Italy. Top notch cinematography and scoring, compelling characters, but most of all it is a phenomenal story. It is only 8 episodes long, but every episode is gripping.
That leads to why I am posting this… Why haven’t people watched this show? The small handful of people I know that have watched it, enjoyed it thoroughly. However, recommending this show to people seems extremely difficult, and I don’t understand why. It’s an 8.1 on IMDb, the lowest rated episode is a 7.6, 94% on RT(91% popcorn meter).
If you haven’t watched this show and enjoy the genre, I highly recommend it. For some reason I find recommending Amazon shows difficult, even if the person has a subscription. Patriot, utopia, ZeroZeroZero, and Goliath are all very good shows, but people seem to be reluctant when it comes to Amazon shows… Why?
Edit: take a gander at the people commenting, basically everyone who has watched the show has given praise.
