How do shows get celebrity guest stars? I’m not talking about talk shows or game shows or anything like that. The only TV show I really watch is The Rookie and in a few episodes there are celebrities, usually playing themselves. Does the show reach out to celebrities to ask them if they want to be on it or does the celebrity? Is it some weird connection game where it’s a more casual invitation? Do the celebrities usually just do it as a way to get a quick payday?
