67.Texas A&M Commerce @ Old Dominion
Old Dominion managed to get two power 5 teams playing at their stadium in back-to-back games but one of them even being big ol’ Jimbo’s A&M!
Oh, I misread it’s Texas A&M commerce, never mind pay this game no mind unless one of your teams is involved.
66.Delaware State @ Miami (OH)
The birds and the bees game, well sorta.
66.Nicholls State @ Tulane
In-state bonus.
64.Gardner-Webb @ East Carolina
In-state bonus but with a better FCS team and a worse FBS team.
63.UAB @ #1 Georgia
Do you believe in the DILF?
62.Buffalo @ Louisiana
This game exists.
61.Kent State @ Fresno State
This game also exists.
60.Southern Miss @ Arkansas State
Yet another game that exists.
59.Akron @ Indiana
BAD G5 TEAM VS BAD B1G TEAM BABY!
58.FAU @ Illinois
BAD G5 VS BAD B1G TEAM PART DEUX BABY!
57.Louisiana Tech @ Nebraska
“Got any more of those G5 dog mascot teams”-Nebraska.
56.Charlotte @ #25 Florida
It’ll be interesting to see how the gators play now that they are finally back into the top 25.
55.New Mexico @ UMass
SICKO GAME BABY!
54.Tulsa @ Northern Illinois
SICKO GAME PART DEUX BABY!
53.NMSU @ Hawaii
SICKO GAME AND HAWAII CHALLENGE ALL WRAPPED INTO ONE!
52.UNLV @ UTEP
The rebels gambled big but came away with an SEC win last game. Meanwhile UTEP managed to lose badly to Northwestern, so it seems as if UNLV should have a definite advantage but the thing about gamblers is that they often lose big after winning big.
51.Central Michigan @ South Alabama
The Jaguars are coming off arguably one of their biggest wins in school history after taking the pokes to school. The Chippewas meanwhile managed put up a better fight against the Irish than the final score might have indicated (Ignore that you read that please and pretend it was more convincing instead).
50.Nevada @ Texas State
Nevada has been a weird team this year losing big to Idaho but taking an undefeated XII team to the wire speaking of XII teams the bobcats took out theirs and look to show off their explosive against the wolfpack but if last week’s wolfpack shows up then that might not be as easy as it seems.
49.James Madison @ Utah State
This is James Madison’s third straight road game and the furthest they have to travel all season.
Meanwhile the aggies hope to prove something after losing in convincing fashion but not getting blown out by Iowa & Air Force but lighting up their FCS team and well taking out some altitude riddled, and road fatigued conference favorites could be the kick their season needs.
48.Arizona @ Stanford
FUCK THE PAC 12 NETWORK!
47.NC State @ Virginia
Shouldn’t be close but you know NC State somehow lost to BC at home last year, so you never know.
46.Eastern Michigan @ Jacksonville State
G5 bird battle
45.Georgia Southern @ Ball State
G5 Bird Battle 2: The Road Warrior
44.#18 Duke @ UConn
Basketball powers meet as they trade out squeaky shoes for helmets and shoulder pads.
43.#20 Miami @ Temple
This season has a lot of Big East teams meeting again doesn’t it.
42.Cal @ #8 Washington
Nothing says Washington should lose this, well I guess it’s time to see just how chaotic PAC-12 dark can get in swan song season.
41.#5 USC @ Arizona State
Same thing as the previous game except the sun devils at least get the home field advantage.
40.Minnesota @ Northwestern
If you like offense look away from this one. If you’re a sicko, then I highly recommend it.
39.Air Force @ SJSU
Air Force is about to play their second conference game meanwhile the only other team that has played a mountain west game was obviously their opponent. One part of the mountain west double header under Friday night lights.
38.Sam Houston State @ Houston
G5-P5 IN STATE BATTLE BABY!
I vote they shouldn’t be allowed to use the word Houston in their name anymore, also is Sam Houston not a state but it’s not even a city. the school is in fucking Huntsville!
37.Colorado State @ MTSU
Colorado State might finally have some eyes on them after giving Colorado the game of their season in the rocky mountain showdown forcing many poor east coasters to stay up well past 2 AM (that would be me). MTSU must now feel better about their close loss to Mizzou after what the Tigers did last week.
Both teams hope to finally get an FBS win after losing in a blowout fashion to a top 25 team and playing another power 5 team to the wire.
Basically, these teams have shared almost identical seasons the only difference being geography and the conference they played against.
36.Liberty @ FIU
Believe it or not FIU comes in with a three-game winning streak as they welcome C-USA newcomer and one of the favorites to win the conference Liberty.
35.Army @ Syracuse
G5-P5 in state battle 2: Judgment Day
Look it’s hard to come up with something to say for every game and my internet was down for a good bit this week so sorry for doing the same bit four times. (except I’m not actually sorry)
34.UTSA @ #23 Tennessee
To say both teams are coming off disappointing losses would be underselling it.
As UTSA was thinking themselves as AAC contenders just lost to a team that lost to ULM but if they thought they felt bad after last weekend then may I introduce you to a team that looked to challenge for the SEC and maybe even get into the playoffs just got dominated by the team that was everyone’s punchline in week one after getting humiliated by their rivals yet again, that team is the volunteers.
33.Western Kentucky @ Troy
Two of the better group of 5 schools from the past few years fight as the hilltoppers rekindle some Sun Belt memories as they head back down to Troy probably wishing they never left the conference to begin with.
32.Georgia State @ Coastal Carolina
On the teal field the undefeated panthers head to South Carolina after winning in the north as sun belt conference play begins in Conway as the Chanticleers hope to hear cheers as the end of the night as they have the lone spotlight when it comes to FBS football tonight.
31.Western Michigan @ Toledo
MACtion begins.
30.Ohio @ BGSU
MACtion but only Ohio teams edition.
29.Rice @ USF
Rice quietly looks pretty solid this year, meanwhile the bulls put up a good but ugly fight against the tide in a Hank Hill butt ugly game.
The bulls probably have some level of eyes on them after holding the tide to under twenty and both teams look to have an argument of being the surprise team of the American and this game will go a long way in showing the dark horse in that race.
28.Texas Tech @ West Virginia
If you asked me before the season which team out of Texas Tech and West Virginia would have had the losing record coming into conference play well let’s, just say I’m definitely not Nostradamus.
As the Red Raiders only finally got their first win against an FCS team last week and West Virginia is coming off turning the Backyard Brawl into some backyard BBQ with the way they cooked Pitt’s offense. Though cooked shit probably still tastes very bad.
27.Mississippi State @ South Carolina
The gamecocks are coming off a scoreless second half and lost to the #1 team in the country after leading at one by point by multiple scores which left them being the only team in the SEC with a losing record (they also happen to be the only team outside of Florida that has played two top 25 teams).
In Starkville the cowbells haven’t had a very good reason to ring this season as the bulldogs just got embarrassed and humiliated in front of Mississippi by the Bayou Bengals. Booth teams could really use a win to get some confidence after tough losses in conference play.
26.Georgia Tech @ Wake Forest
According to the ACC this is a bigger rivalry worthy of protecting for Wake then the NC State game and more worthy of protection then the TechMo bowl for Georgia Tech.
Well time to see how this classic rivalry chapter is told this weekend as Wake heads home after a close win at Old Dominion meanwhile the yellow jackets continue their drives on the road to undefeated team’s stadiums.
25.Maryland @ Michigan State
First time to see what this Spartan staff can do with an actual week of prep time and against a more favorable opponent at least as it appears right now because the terrapins are undefeated and at not looking to lose that momentum looking finally to break through and become a team that might actually dethrone one of the big boys in the B1G.
24.Kentucky @ Vanderbilt
Kentucky hasn’t looked great but still heads into this game undefeated meanwhile Vanderbilt’s bowl hopes seem already dashed after going broke in Vegas.
Still Vanderbilt would like to at least have one win in the SEC this season and their midsouth opponents seem like one of the better opportunities on the schedule while Kentucky hopes to work out more of their kinks before the true meat of their schedule begins.
23.Wisconsin @ Purdue
Both teams begin conference play under Friday night lights as the Boilermakers finally look to win at home after having only won on the road this season. Wisconsin looks to run through Purdue as they thankfully don’t have the curse of being ranked team thanks to Washington State.
22.BC @ Louisville
Have the eagles really just corrected the course that fast after a sloppy first two weeks or was last week’s almost upset over…
