Premise: Antoinette Dunkerson (Terri J. Vaughn) becomes Lieutenant Governor but faces hurdles including a sexist governor and helping her family adjust to life in public in the Tyler Perry drama series.
The continuation of stereotypes of blacks and white people is infuriating. Main character has graduated law school, yet surrounds herself with straight nonsense. He refuses to write a strong black woman with common sense.
She constantly talks like a bumbling idiot who can’t put 2 sentences together, yet has a law degree. She doesn’t speak up for herself in attempt to make the few white people talk over and manipulate her into doing something unethical.
Changing the name might have been an attempt to stop the bad reviews but we still hate it, Tyler Perry.
