Original Title: The Night Of is one of those television series where the ending is so powerful that it makes your heart break. It truly shows that even with vindication that being institutionalized changes people for the worse in the long wrong.
This show really is sad because Naz even though he’s free has had his life destroyed. He’s now addicted to drugs and he’s now institutionalized. It’s very likely he’ll be back in prison or worse he’ll be hooked ion drugs to the point he won’t be able to be a contributor to society any longer. Bad policing likely destroyed this young mans life. Amazing show and Riz Ahmed gives an outstanding performance.
